Marcia has fifteen years of Financial Services Experience working in the Corporate, Pension and Valuation departments of major insurance companies, she has worked with both international and local organizations with a focus in the areas of Pension Consulting and Financial Planning.
Her diverse portfolio includes serving large corporations, individuals and small business owners. Her philosophy is that people today are not just looking for advice but for a FINANCIAL SOLUTION.
A graduate from the University of Manitoba, she holds her Masters of Science ((MSc) degree in Actuarial Science. She is also an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business located at York University, Toronto. Her specialty was Finance and Strategic Management.
With a keen interest in occupational excellence and academic interest, she further completed a Post MBA Diploma in Advance Management (PDAM) also at the Schulich School of Business and specialized in Accounting and Financial Services. Marcia is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Chartered Financial Services Broker (CFSB). She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals.
A wife and mother of three children, Marcia is very much involved in her children’s education and the community. She has made a significant contribution towards the development of teaching materials for children with special needs.
